SARAH-LOU NEWMAN
Sarah-Lou is an Artist, Arts Programmer and Educator with a BA in Painting and an MA in Applied Imagination from UAL Central St.Martins. ​

Her career began in the early 2000's, opening a gallery in Olinda, Brazil, working with international artists and the local community. Along side her practice Lou has continued to work in collaboration with galleries, arts organisations and educational settings to promote the power of art and creativity to foster connection, discourse and social change.
She has lived, worked and exhibited in Brazil, the USA and the UK, with a particular focus around the intersection of creative arts and contemporary Feminism. ​​

Lou also serves as a trustee for The Orp Foundation and has completed several certifications in Understanding Autism, ADHD and Neurodivergence. ​
​
She currently resides in Brighton, UK with her partner and three daughters.
