Sarah-Lou has over 16 years of experience in art education. From a start with NGO partnerships in rural Brazilian communities; curriculum creation and implementation for studios and schools in the USA; to the founding and expansion of Sm.art Club in north London, UK. Lou has always been an advocate for the importance of creative education and the vital role Art plays in our societies and communities.
SM.ART CLUB ART SCHOOL
Established in 2018 Sm.art Club offers a unique bespoke creative curriculum that centres the power of process led creative exploration.
Through learning about a diverse array of arts movements and artists, from contemporary to old masters, Sm.art Club's unique approach supports children to learn about themselves and the world they live in. A process-first approach enables kids to develop creative and critical thinking skills that are vital to contemporary life as well as fostering the kinds of creative flow and mindful play that are undeniably beneficial to our holistic well being.
Sm.art Club has works with primary schools, private clients and arts organisations to create and deliver custom curriculums and workshops as well as having supported educational settings online during COVID-19.
